    • CHATEAU RECOUGNE - AOC BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR

Made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Carmenère grapes, Château Recougne is now one of the most popular AOC Bordeaux Supérieur wines.
A pleasant fruity nose, a deep and powerful structure and round, velvety tannins make for a very elegant, rich and complex bottle of wine. These qualities appreciated in Bordeaux wines offer this wine great ageing potential, as demonstrated by the 1952 vintages, which keep all their freshness.

Pierre Perret opens his "wine cage", Vignobles & Co. 07/2001
"I stay true to Château Recougne, which remains unbeatable in terms of quality and price. I discovered this wine 35 years ago during a tour. In a restaurant, the owner asked me: "What do you like?" I replied that I am more of a Graves, Pomerol and Saint-Emilion person, but I also like Pauilhac, Château Latour and other myths. He said: "I have just the right thing for you," and takes out a bottle of Château Recougne from behind the counter. I continue to order it every year ever since. Since then, I think that I ordered 2 to 3 thousand bottles!"

This blend of Sauvignon, Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris has a beautiful shiny gold colour.
Intense flavours characterized by floral notes, lemon, grapefruit and other citrus fruits as well as green apple.

This dry white wine goes perfectly with seafood, including oysters and grilled fish. It is very lively and refreshing, with tart flavours.

Respectful of the fruit and primary aromas of Sauvignon, it is a great wine to share with friends.

    • CHATEAU RECOUGNE - CUVEE VIEILLES VIGNES
      AOC BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR

This premium wine is made from the oldest vines of Château Recougne.
Produced only in vintage years, this bottle rivals some of the greatest Bordeaux wines.

It reveals various aromas of moka, roasted coffee and candied fruit. It is a very voluptuous and concentrated wine with silky ripe tannins that bring sweetness, fullness and a long finish.

A wine with great cellaring potential.

      AOC BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR

Carmenère is an old Bordeaux grape variety that was abandoned in the early 20th century due to its small yield.

In the late 90s, we found Carmenère vines of the time in Saint Emilion that we replanted on our land. This black grape variety has an elegant and explosive spicy flavour. It produces a unique full-bodied wine with a refreshing initial taste.

We have been making this Carmenère wine, which is very rare in Bordeaux, for the past few years. It will make you travel and provides a great experience for those who love wine a little out of the ordinary.
